pEMGerman Cabbage Soup Recipe from the diabetic recipe collection at InformationAboutDiabetes.com/emIngredients: /pP2 oz Ground Beef Round2 tbsp Onion1 d Each mustard, soy sauce,1 d Each salt, pepper1 tbsp Dry red wine1 1/4 cup Beef broth2 large Cabbage leaves(Cut in pieces)1/2 medium Tomato, cubed1/2 tsp Fresh parsley/pPreparation: PCombine ground round, onion, mustard, soy sauce, salt, and pepper; mixthoroughly. Form into tiny meatballs. Add wine to broth; bring toboil. Add wine to broth; bring to boil. Add meatballs to broth, oneat a time. Bring to a boil again. Cook meatballs 5 minutes; removeto soup bowl. Add cabbage and tomatoes to broth. Simmer 5 minutes.Pour over meatballs.
