Enchilada Pie Recipe

li1/2 cup onion, chopped /li
li4 ounces (1 can) tomato sauce /li
li1 teaspoon chili powder /li
li1/2 teaspoon cumin /li
li1/4 teaspoon salt /li
li1/4 teaspoon pepper /li
li6 whole wheat tortillas /li
li3 ounces low-fat shredded Cheddar cheese/li
livegetable cooking spray /li
li1/2 cup water /li

liCook ground turkey and onion in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat until browned, stirring to crumble. /li
liDrain and pat dry with paper towels. /li
liReturn meat to skillet; stir in tomato sauce and seasoning. /li
liContinue to cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thoroughly heated. /li
liLayer tortillas, meat sauce, and cheese in a 2-quart casserole dish coated with cooking spray. /li
liPour water over top. /li
liCover and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve hot. /li
