1 tbsp reduced calorie margarine, +1 tsp reduced calorie margarine2 small sweet apples, peeled,chopped1/2 cup onions, chopped1 lb very lean ground beef2 tsp curry powder1/8 tsp garlic powder1 salt and pepper to taste2 egg whites3/4 oz wheat germ3/4 cup tomato sauce

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350. Cook onion and apple in margarine until onion islightly browned, about 15 minutes. Combine with remaining ingredientsEXCEPT 1/2 cup of the tomato sauce, shape into a loaf and place on a rackin a shallow baking pan. Top with remaining tomato sauce. Bake, uncovered,1 hour.Per serving: 24g protein, 18g fat, 16g carb., 405mg sodium, 70mg chol., 317calories.
