Best Stewed Tomatoes Recipe

Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 3 cup canned undrained tomatoes, cut into chunks
  • 1/2 cup Celery, minced
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tbsp onion flakes, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt, to taste
  • 2 tsp margarine
  • 2 tsp sugar, or sugar substitute
  • 1 dash pepper

Preparation:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
  2. Cover and cook over low-medium heat, stirring frequently, for about 10 min. or until celery is tender.
  3. Serve warm.
