4 small Kohlrabies, peeled and cutInto chunks1 large Onion, chopped2 Sweet Potatoes, peeled andCut into chunks2 Zucchini, sliced thick5 Tomatoes, fresh -or-16 oz Can Tomatoes15 oz Can Garbanzo beans(chick-peas) with liquid1/2 cup Couscous -or- Bulgar Wheat1/4 cup Raisins, dark or golden1 tsp Ground Coriander1/2 tsp Ground Turmeric1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon1/2 tsp Ground Ginger1/4 tsp Ground Cumin3 cup Water

Preparation:

Combine all the ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil,lower the heat, and simmer until the vegetables are tender, about 30minutes.Note: Serve the couscous separately, if desired.
