SLICE A BAGEL VERY THINLY WITH A SHARP KNIFE. SPRINKLE WITH GARLIC POWDER
(OR ONE OF YOUR CHOICE BEFORE BAKING OR LEAVE PLAIN. BAKE ON A COOKIE SHEET
AT 250 TO 275 DEGREES UNTIL CRISP AND CRACKER LIKE. EACH BAGEL IS EQUAL TO
2 STARCHES. This was recipe was given to me by a dietician at Riverside
Hospital, in Newport News, Va.
