1/2 cup rice, uncooked1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple (in own, reserve liquid1 package (3 oz.) sugar-free fruit flavored gBoiling waterPineapple juice, drained from canMaraschino cherriesHeavy cream

Preparation:

Cook rice according to package directions. Drain, set aside. Drainpineapple, reserving 1 cup juice. Dissolve gelatin in 1 cup boiling water.Add juice. Stir in well drained rice, the cooked rice will absorb thecolor and flavor of the gelatin. Mix wel!l and chill until thickened but not quite set. Add drained pineapple andcherries, if desired.
