Deviled Cornish Hens Recipe

2 cornish hens, skin removed2 tbsp water1/4 cup soy sauce1/2 cup red wine1 tbsp sherry extract1 tbsp dijon mustard1/2 tsp hot pepper sauce2 tbsp vegetable oil1/2 tsp pepper3 tbsp dry bread crumbs

Preparation:

Split hens in half down the back. Place in a shallow pan. Combine remainingingredients, except bread crumbs and pour over hens. Marinate severalhours, turning occasionally. Preheat oven to 350. Sprinkle half of thebread crumbs over hens. Bake 30 minutes. Turn hens, sprinkle with remainingcrumbs. Bake 30 minutes more.Per serving: 26g protein, 14g fat, 7g carb., 1546mg sodium, 76mg chol., 275calories.
