Maple Bacon and Eggs

Serves 1

Ingredients

  • 1 slice turkey bacon
  • 1 egg
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tsp maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Spray a small skillet with oil spray and place it over medium heat.
  2. Cook the turkey bacon in the skillet for about 30 seconds per side, or until crispy.
  3. Remove the bacon from the skillet.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk the egg and egg whites together. Scramble the eggs in the skillet, then crumble bacon pieces onto the eggs. Cook everything together until the eggs are fully cooked.
  5. Transfer the eggs and bacon to a plate, then drizzle with maple syrup before serving.
