Variety Coleslaw Recipe
Ingredients:
2.00 c Shredded cabbage
1.00 md Carrot, chopped or grated
2.00 tb Green pepper, chopped
0.25 c Boiled dressing, diet*
2.00 tb Plain yogurt
CHOICE OF ONE
0.50 Apple, chopped or
0.33 c Drained, unsw. pineapple ch
2.00 tb Raisins
* refers to a dressing made with artificial sweetener
Combine cabbage, carrot and green pepper in a bowl.
Combine dressing with yogurt. Add apple or pineapple
or raisins to cabbage mixture. Pour on dressing and
mix gently.
Each serving about 1/2 cup 1 Fruit & Veg Choice 8 g
carbohydrate, 2 g protein, 1 g fat (49 calories)
