0.50 c Cooked extra-lean ground be
0.50 ts Salt
0.50 ts Ground black pepper
0.50 c Shredded part-skim morrarel
4.00 tb Dry bread crumbs
1.00 ts Dried basil
0.50 ts Dried oregano

Preheat oven to 350~. Cut a thin slice across stem
end of tomato. Scoop out pulp from tomatoes, leaving
1/4" thick shells. Coarsley chop 1/2 cup of pulp.
Place tomato shells inoiled baking pan. In small bowl,
combine chopped tomato, cheese, ground beef, 2 tbsp.
bread crumbs, and seasonings. Spoon equal amounts of
this mixture into tomato shells. Sprinkle each with
remaining bread crumbs. Bake, uncovered, until cheese
melts, about 15 minutes.
PER SERVING: 117 calories, 19 g carbohydrates, 9 g
protein, 5 g fat, 265 mg sodium.
EXCHANGES per serving: 1 vegetable, 1/2 starch and
1 lean meat.
