Ingredients:

1.00 c Red lentils
2.00 Celery stalks, chopped
4.00 c Vegetable stock or water
1.00 sm Potato, chopped
0.25 c Onion, chopped
0.25 c Lean ham, chopped
2.00 Bay leaves
0.25 ts Black pepper

Preparation:

Mix all ingredients in a stockpot and cook until
lentils are very soft, about 1-2 hours. Remove bay
leaves and serve warm.

cal; 7g prot, 1g fat, 18g carb Exchanges: 1
starch/bread, 1/2 lean meat
