Jiffy Pepper Steak Recipe
Ingredients:
1.00 lb Inside round steak 1/2"thic
1.00 ts Pepper
3.00 tb Butter or soft margarine
1.00 tb Worcestershire sauce
1.00 tb Lemon juice
0.25 ts Celery salt
0.50 Clove garlic, minced
Tender when not overcooked. Also good cold in
sandwiches or as part of a salad plate.
Cut steak into serving-size pieces. Sprinkle steak
with pepper and rub into meat with heel of your hand.
In small saucepan, melt butter. Add Worcestershire
sauce, lemon juice, celery salt and garlic. Brush
sauce on steaks and fast-fry over high heat 5 min or
until desired doneness. Do not overcook. Serve
immediately topped with remaining sauce.
