Garlic Lemon Green Beans

li2 cups water/li
li1 1/2 pounds green beans, ends trimmed /li
li2 tbsp olive oil/li
li1 garlic clove, minced/li
li2 tbsp lemon juice /li
li1/4 tsp salt to taste/li
li1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper to taste/li
li2 tablespoons chopped parsley/li

liIn a large skillet, boil water. Add beans, then cover and reduce heat. Let simmer for 8 minutes or until tender. /li
liDrain beans; pat dry, set aside on paper towel. /li
liHeat oil in pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic, and sauté for 30 seconds or until fragrant. Add beans, juice, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes. Serve immediately and sprinkle with parsley./li
