Diabetic Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 cup Shortening/promise margarine
1 Egg
2 tbsp Sweet 'n' low
1 tbsp Butter
1/2 cup Buttermilk/sour cream
2 cup Flour
1 tsp Baking soda
1 cup Grated apple
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
1/4 tsp Ground cloves
1 tbsp Vanilla

Preparation:

Cream shortening, egg, sugar substitute and butter; add buttermilk
and mix in flour and baking soda, apple, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg,
soda, cloves and vanilla. Drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake 7-8
minutes at 375 degrees.
