Ingredients:

1 tbsp reduced calorie margarine, +
1 tsp reduced calorie margarine
2 small sweet apples, peeled,chopped
1/2 cup onions, chopped
1 lb very lean ground beef
2 tsp curry powder
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1 salt and pepper to taste
2 egg whites
3/4 oz wheat germ
3/4 cup tomato sauce

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350. Cook onion and apple in margarine until onion is
lightly browned, about 15 minutes. Combine with remaining ingredients
EXCEPT 1/2 cup of the tomato sauce, shape into a loaf and place on a rack
in a shallow baking pan. Top with remaining tomato sauce. Bake, uncovered,
1 hour.

Per serving: 24g protein, 18g fat, 16g carb., 405mg sodium, 70mg chol., 317
calories.
