Chicken Divan Recipe

Ingredients:

2 cup frozen broccoli, chopped
3 tbsp margarine, =or=-
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp pepper
1 dash ground nutmeg
3/4 cup light cream or milk
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup swiss cheese, shredded
2 tbsp dry white wine
1 1/2 cup cubed chicken =or=-
1 1/2 cup cubed turkey
3 tbsp grated parmesan
1 paprika

Preparation:

Cook broccoli according to package directions; drain. Arrange in a 10x6x2
inch baking dish.

Meanwhile, for sauce, in a medium saucepan melt margarine or butter. Stir
in flour, pepper and nutmeg. Add cream or milk and chicken broth all at
once. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Add Swiss cheese and wine,
stirring till cheese melts.

Pour half of the sauce over broccoli. Top with chicken or turkey, then the
remaining sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika. Bake in a 350F
oven about 20 minutes or till heated through.
