Yes it will, but if you have type 2 diabetes, all that flour in a sugar cookie recipe will cause massive sugar spikes. I have found Flour to be the number one enemy of my type 2 diabetes, and it causes massive sugar spikes that last a long time for me..so I do my best to avoid anything made with flour..especially since I am controlling my condition with only Metformin, diet and herbs..and don't want to get on insulin.

I was wondering about the same thing. I want to bake a cake for my husband; I bought a sugar-free cake mix but as you have stated - the flour is an issue. I have found a recipe that I can bake cakes, brownies, etc with almond flour. I just can't seem to find a supermarket that carries it. Any suggestions?
