The American Diabetes association has launched their new online program 24/7. The program is designed to help diabetics control their diabetes. The program is an application, which can be accessed by the computer, Ipads and Iphone, and cell phones that have a data package.
The Program
The program llows diabetics to connect, doctors and other support staff members. The diabetic puts in their personal health information (this is not shared with other diabetics only the doctors and staff) the staff is called the 24/7 care team. The program provides the users with tools to help monitor their blood sugar levels, track patterns n their blood sugar levels, it also allows lab reports and physical activity (exercise) to be input into the application. “The application will integrate with Microsoft's HealthVault program and utilize its data sharing capability.”
