8th Annual Medical Innovation Summit Event - Diabetes

Every year the Cleveland Clinic holds an annual event. This even called the Medical Innovation Summit is held November 1st, 2nd, and 3rd on the campus.

This Years Main Focus

Of course, every year and this year topics included is about diabetes treatments, education, and support. This year the main focus will be on the new technologies that have been developed through out the year for diagnosing and managing diabetes.

Obesity and diabetes will also be a top focal point this year at the event. As more and more evidence is pointing towards obesity in all ages and walks of life as being a major contributing factor to increasing a person’s risk of developing diabetes.

This Years Speakers

Over 40 speakers from several different companies will be in attendance and speaking at the event. Some of the speakers will talk about new and available diagnostic tools and others will speak about recently released medications and equipment.

Just to mention a few of the companies who will be speaking “Tim Ring (Bard); best-selling author and host of "The Dr. Oz Show, CEOs Bill Weldon (Johnson & Johnson), Chris Viehbacher (Sanofi-aventis)” plus several more people who have news that may change they way you treat, control or manage your diabetes.
