Oramed pharmaceutical has good news for both type 1 and type 2 diabetics. A new oral medication clinical being called ORMD-0801 is the making.
This new oral medication may be able to help type 1 diabetics whose diabetes who are suffering from uncontrollable diabetes. Of course, the majority of type 1 diabetics are children so another bonus is the medication being oral will eliminate some of the injections they must have daily.
This oral medication once approved and available will also benefit type 2 diabetics who have only somewhat manageable diabetes. Of course, the lack of needle sticks will also be cut down for these individuals.
Clinical trials have not started yet so as with any new medication it may be a while before it is available to the public.
