Nikki Lang a rising singing sensation has joined the American Diabetes association in a fundraiser that started on October 1, 2010. Nikki like many celebrities can relate to diabetics - she is one.
Lang will donate 100% of the proceeds of iTunes downloads for the title song, "Feel Better," off her recently released CD, to the American Diabetes Association. If enough people download the song that could be result in a lot of money for the American Diabetes Association and ultimately all diabetics.
Nikki was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 10. "I never let diabetes get in the way of my dream," said Nikki. "Performing is in my soul. Diabetes is just a fact of who I am. I know there are millions of others out there like me, who are coming face to face with diabetes either as kids or as adults. My message to them is that together, we can put a stop to this disease."
